In a nutshell:
Setting the scene of a distant future where the line between human creation and living-forms has been blurred, where creatures and machines are indistinguishable. And where life is far removed from that of today. It sounds like something from a sci-fi film, which is partly the point. Like a lot of sci-fi themes, Future Organic plays into the human tension of technology, perhaps more relevent that ever, following recent advancements in AI and robotics.
Future Organic is characterised by life-like forms that emulate living organisms, but composed of inorganic human-made materials, rarely connected to life, such as metal and plastic. Thus imparting Future Organic’s distinctive aesthetic. Similar to living organisms, these forms frequently exhibit the appearance of growth, featuring tendrils or sprawling veins.
